Autodesk® Desktop App Readme
This readme contains the latest information for Autodesk desktop app. It is recommended that you read this document before you install this product.
Known Issues and Limitations
- Autodesk desktop app displays product tabs only for the following 2016 and newer version products when installed:
- 3ds Max
- AutoCAD
- AutoCAD Architecture
- AutoCAD Civil 3D
- AutoCAD Electrical
- AutoCAD LT
- AutoCAD Map 3D
- AutoCAD Mechanical
- AutoCAD MEP
- AutoCAD P&ID
- AutoCAD Plant 3D
- AutoCAD Raster Design
- AutoCAD Utility Design
- Factory Design Utilities
- Fusion 360
- Inventor
- Inventor LT
- Inventor Professional
- Maya
- Maya LT
- Motionbuilder
- Mudbox

If you have a 2016 or newer version of a product that is not in this list, you won't see a product page for it; however, you'll still receive updates through the Autodesk desktop app.
- If you sign in to the Autodesk desktop app while a product or update is installing, you might not see the complete list of products available to you. When the installation is complete, right-click the Autodesk desktop app in the system tray and select
Check Now to see the full list.
- If you see the error “The timestamp signature and/or certificate could not be verified or is malformed" while installing a product, please configure your proxy environment in Internet Explorer and try again.
- The "No Devices" admin mode setting does not apply to products that are already installed.
- If you want to install a product but do not see the My products tab, right-click the Autodesk desktop app in the system tray and select Check Now to view available products.
- The Access files from the shared directory setting does not apply to updates downloaded as part of a product install.
